Priya Malik is a TedX speaker, an actress, a columnist, a TV personality (Big Brother Australia, Bigg Boss India), a teacher, a spoken word poet, a storyteller, a comic but most importantly a writer/performer whose recent viral works such as Right to Pleasure and Dear Mr. Player are a testimony to her distinct voice. She writes and performs both in Hindi and English. In her last 3.5 years since she got back to India from Australia, she has already done a fair share of television in India (Star Plus /Colors/ABP News/ Sab TV/ Sony) In terms of her poetry experience, she has written and performed for various brands including Malala Education Fund, Tinder, Alt Balaji, and Hindustan Unilever Limited. She has also been covered in prime newspapers and magazines such as TOI, Grazia and Asian Age and has performed at various live events including Spoken Fest, Soul Stage, and SheThePeople. Her work has been featured on some of India's most prominent spoken word platforms such as Kommune, UnErase Poetry, Spill Poetry, Amazon Prime and Tape A Tale. She also wrote and performed the latest viral "† Black and White Women's Day anthem with over 5 million views. Priya is currently hosting the first spoken word poetry show on national television called Uncensored News With Priya for TV9 Bharatvarsh delivering current affairs (political and social issues) in a poetic format. She's also a part of an all-female theatre play called Selfie, directed by Paritosh Painter. On the literary side, Priya's first book with Harper Collins is all set to release early next year. She is on an unapologetic feminist journey, one verse at a time.
