Mink Brar is a professional actress based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She was first spotted by Late Dev Anand, a veteran actor, who introduced her to the Indian film industry when she was just 13 years old. She debuted in Dev Anand’s Hindi movie, Pyaar Ka Tarana (1993). Since then, Mink has appeared in several movies like Jung (1996), Yamraaj (1998), Saat Rang Ke Sapne (1998), Ganga Ki Kasam (1999), Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain (1999), Jwalamukhi (2000), Zahreela (2001), Ajnabee (2001), Chalo Ishq Ladaaye (2002), Pitaah (2002), Border Hindustan Ka (2003), and Oops (2003). Mink also worked in some South Indian films like Prematho Raa (Telugu film, 2001). In 2006, Mink turned into a producer and started Bro and Sis Productions, a production house, with Punnu Brar, her brother. Their first major work was the film Katputtli, which was released in 2006, in which Mink played the lead role. The production company is presently producing an untitled project. In 1999, Mink made a special dance appearance for the song 'Jumbalakka' in the Tamil movie En Swasa Kaatre. She appeared in the music video, Lal Garara, from the movie and album called Badal, which was released in 2000. In 2008, her production company released a music album, Ghonghat Mix, in which she acted in the music video of Mujhko Ranaji Maaf Karna. This music album was Bro and Sis Productions' second major work after the movie Katputtli. Mink participated in the dance reality TV show Dancing Queen, which aired on Colors TV channel. The show went on air in 2008. In 2009, she appeared in Sarkaar Ki Duniya, an adventure reality show on Real, where she got eliminated in the 17th week. In 2011, she appeared in the sports entertainment reality TV game show, Zor Ka Jhatka - Total Wipeout, on Imagine TV, hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. Next, she participated in the celebrity reality TV show Bigg Boss Season 6, entering the show in 2012 as a wild card contestant.
