Manasvi Mamgai is a professional actor based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The Indian actress and supermodel was crowned Femina Miss India 2010, Miss Tourism International 2008 and Elite Model Look India 2006. She represented India at Miss World 2010. She made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the Eros International film, Action Jackson, directed by Prabhu Deva, opposite Ajay Devgan. Manasvi was born in Delhi but points out that her roots are from Uttarakhand. She did her schooling in Chandigarh. While at school, she excelled in dancing and skating. By the age of 14, she won multiple state awards in dancing, including Dancer of the Year trophy awarded by the Chandigarh Institute of Performing Arts and the best dancer award by the Chandigarh Art Theatre. She also has many medals in skating, the best being the running trophy in VL Shah Memorial All-India Open Skating championships. She was also the assistant editor of her school magazine. Mamgai won the Miss Tourism International held in Malaysia in 2008; she also won the Miss Popular subtitle in the contest by voting. In 2010, she was crowned Femina Miss India, winning five subtitles including Miss Golden Heart, Miss Catwalk, and Miss Natural Beauty in the pageant.
