Madhurima Tuli is a professional actor based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Originally from Jharkhand, she has acted in South Indian and Bollywood movies. Her father works for Tata Steel, and her mother is a mountaineer and works at an NGO. She debuted in the film industry with Saththaa, a 2004 Telugu film, opposite to Sai Kiran. Later, she moved to Mumbai and studied at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School. During her course, she started modeling for various brands like Fiama Di Wills, Godrej, and Karbonn Mobiles, and in 2007, played a small part in Kasturi, a soap opera, STAR Plus Channel. She played a supporting role of Satya in Homam, a 2008 thriller, written by JD Chakravarthy. Toss was her next film where she played the role of Sherry. She went on to act in Zee TV’s daily soap, Shree, and the role of Gayathri in the historical TV series, Jhansi ki Rani. Her role as Rukmini in Kaalo (2010) was screened at the 6th Annual South African Halloween Horror Festival in Cape Town, where it won the best feature film and the best cinematography award. She took part in the third season of Khatron Ka Khiladi with Dino Morea as her partner in Brazil. Her Bollywood debut came in 2011 in the comedy romance, Kya Karein Kya Na Karein, alongside Vrajesh Hirjee, Babrak Goni, and Upasana Singh. In the same year, she was also seen in the 2011 TV show, Parichay, which was aired on Colors TV. Tuli played the lead role in Cigarette Ki Tarah (2012) alongside Prashant Narayana and as the female lead, Natasha, in an English short film, Lethal Commission, 2012, directed by Anik Singal. She starred in the movie, Maaricha (2012) directed by K Siva Surya, and was simultaneously made in Kannada and Tamil. Mithun Tejasvi played the lead actor opposite Tuli. Tuli played Gunjan Dutta in the Hindi thriller 3D film, Warning (2013), produced by Subhash Ghai and directed by Hemanth Hegde. She also starred opposite to Akshay Kumar in the 2015 film, Baby. Currently, she can be seen in Zee TV’s reality show, I Can Do That.
