Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, more popularly known as Lakshmi Manchu is an Indian actress, television presenter and producer known for her blazing works in American television and Telugu cinema. She has a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Oklahoma City University (where is was honoured with Alumni Hall of Honour Award later), and is the daughter of veteran actor Mohan Babu.
She made her debut in American Television series Las Vegas, in the role of Sarasvati Kumar, the love interest of James Lesure. But technically she has started her career at the age of 4 itself as a child actor. She has been in 20 feature films in India and USA. She is also a co-owner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, that has produced 56 feature films and counting.
Her next appearances were in one episodes each of Desperate Housewives, Late Nights with My Lover and Mystery ER. She was then seen in commercials for Toyota, AARP & Chevrolet. She went on to make numerous appearances in Telugu films and has won several awards for her performances.
