Started his career in Bollywood with a bang, quite literally! KK sang for the maestro filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999. As a young boy, he pulled off a song like Tadap Tadap with grace and since then there was no looking back! This breakthrough in Bollywood was a perfect one for the talented singer. Later, the dedicated artist went on to sing some of the biggest chartbusters of Bollywood including "Awarapan, banjarapan" (Jism), the high-pitched "Tadap Tadap ke" (Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam), the naughty "O' hum dum suniyo re" (Sathiya), also the romantic number "Tu aashiqui hai" (Jhankar Beats), ‘Ajab Si’ (Om Shanti Om) and many more.
KK became a renowned name in the industry and a reliable singer to fall back upon! Today, he is considered as one of the gifted voices of the Indian music scenario. His distinctly clear voice and excellent throw has made him a favorite of several well-known music directors including Pritam, Vishal-Shekhar, among others. Despite being such a renowned and talented singer, KK is a humble soul. His grounded personality wins people over in one go. The versatile singer has been a part of several popular stage shows, concerts, and live shows. KK also was associated with the Coke Studio India and MTV unplugged India series.
