KAV-e is associated with his crew called Elsewhere, led by Poetik Justis, and has been gigging and spreading the scene all across ever since. He was introduced to hip hop when his brother won a collection of rap songs in a competition. That collection became his world. Soon, he began to write his own stuff and grew better with every rhyme he wrote. Looking back now at the road that he has traveled, he has finally discovered his true potential in Elsewhere. He has won the poetry competition on the The Big Mic twice and twice stood second in the English category, which shows why he calls himself KAV-e. Apart from a local fan base, KAV-e is also known for his freestyling ability and battles. Also, he is familiar face in the Cyphermania group that got featured in the TOI. KAV-e is the first Monster Battle Champion which got featured in the Rolling Stones Magazine. He also won the Battle Championship at The Message and also Rap Wars 3.0 at Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pillani, Rajasthan. His struggle was captured in the hip hop documentary, Breaking Bombay. With Elsewhere, KAV-e is using all his potential and will come up with a compilation of his best poetry and songs in his first mix tape.
