Jack, Johnnie and the Ol' Monk is a blues/funk/rock/rock n' roll LIVE band based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The name of the band comes from three iconic liquor brands – Jack Daniels, Johnnie Walker and Old Monk. With more than 30 years of experience, the band effortlessly belts out popular songs by adding its own signature style to them. The band was founded in the year 2011, when the three members realized that their vocal harmonies and peculiar musical styling were something that needed to be shared with the world. They came up with their first album, titled 'Crystal Moon'. The album was positively received by Chennai, and one of its tracks – 'Paloma' – went viral and received over 80000 views online. After seeing multiple changes in the lineup, the band returned with its original one.
