Imperial Cult is a LIVE band based out of Darjeeling, West Bengal. The blackened death metal band from the Himalayan region was formed in 2012. They have been playing shows all over Kolkata, Darjeeling, and Nepal. They have also been featured in an international compilation by SNRMB Nepal entitled Raktapyas – II (Glory Of Death), alongside bands like Nervecell (UAE), Dying Out Flame (Nepal), Kartikeya (Russia), Narsamhaar (Nepal), Puteraeon (Sweden), Bidroha (Nepal), Binaash (Nepal), Turbocharged (Sweden) and many more. Their musical influences include bands like Behemoth, Vader, Naglfar, Emperor, Belphegor, etc. They released their debut EP titled ‘Rise of Yalamber’ in 2014 at the Darjeeling Summer Death Fest. The EP comprises songs like Rise of Yalamber, Pain of Mortals, The Abomination, and Black Stone. The EP was produced and recorded at Pentatonics Studio, Kolkata.
