Harshvardhan Rane is a professional actor based out of Hyderabad, Telangana. Born in Rajahmundry and raised in Gwalior, Harshvardhan was rated #17 in Hyderabad’s ’25 Most Desirable Men’ by Times of India after just six films in the Telugu film industry. After delivering successful movies like Avanu, Takita Takita, Maaya, and Prema Ishq Kaadhal, and has currently shoot for John Abraham’s production titled ‘Satra Ko Shaadi Hai’. This has been his debut film in Bollywood. In the meantime, his new Telugu film, Avanu Part 2, is set for release in Hyderabad. He started his career in Mumbai as Rummy Gaur in 'Left Right Left', a popular Hindi television serial, co-starring Rajeev Khandelwal. A graduate from Barry John Acting Studio, Harshvardhan has performed in many theatrical ventures, including 'A Streetcar Named Desire', the Indian adaptation of Tennessee Williams, and many more projects by Hyderabad-based theatre groups. He got his first break in Tollywood as Sri, in Bhoomika Chawla's debut production venture 'Thakita Thakita'. The multi-talented actor then created quite a buzz with his performance in 'Maaya' and 'Prema Ishq Kaadhal'. He also dubs for himself in his films. Avanu, directed by Ravi Babu, went on to become one of the top grossers in its genre, for 2012. Harsha has also acted and produced a short film 'Infinity', which premiered in Asia’s largest short-film club, Shamiana. He received critical acclaim for his honest effort.
