Frozen Chimes is a LIVE Band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. It was formed in 2009 by guitarist, Benazir Sahil, and drummer, Nihal Amolik, who were college colleagues since their engineering education. Band Members: Benazir Sahil aka Banjo - Lead/Rhythm Guitars Has his fingers on the guitar since 2005. He bought his first guitar from his stipend and has never looked back. Believes in simplicity, hard work and follows his heart.  His influences are Incubus, Pearl Jam, Karnivool, Pink Floyd, Tool, and Led Zeppelin. Nihal Amolik – Drums Influenced by the Beatles for the first time at the age of five, which was a major reason for his inclination towards music. As time went by there were musical groups and artists who shaped his musicality like the Doors, The Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel, etc. Later, he found a mentor who could provide him with proper drum lessons, and then there was no looking back. A talented drummer with a good sense of sound. He is the backbone of the band.   His influences are The Doors, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.   Rowdy Headbanger – Bass  Started playing the bass long before he even thought of being a soulful bass guitarist. He learns, experiments, and teaches bass to budding musicians. Believes in inner self and is always at peace with heart.  His influences are Pink Floyd, Rage against the Machine, Spin Doctors, and Korn.  Hemanshu Salunkhe – Vocals/Rhythm Guitars  With an innate musical sense and a raw voice. He completes the band. Heard of Led Zeppelin at the age of 16 which was a major influence on his musicality, got his first guitar at 17, and his love and sense for music have been growing since then.  His influences are Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and Pearl Jam.
