In the year 2012, the idea of making a music band was coined by Mayank Semwal, Abhishek Bhou, and Rahul Das. Later, they were joined by Deepak Tiwari on rhythm guitar, Akhoto Sakhrie on lead guitar, and Phynskhembhor on drums. The band was named as Eminentz of the Era. But, due to some reason – Deepak, Akhoto and Phynskhem left the band. Later, Armaan Hasib on lead guitar and Pinaki Chakraborty on bass joined the band and the name was changed to 'Flares Of Gold'. After renaming, the band performed rock n roll in its first performance at the Concoction 2013 on 24 March 2013, with Mayank on the drums and vocals, Armaan Hasib on lead guitar, Rahul Das on rhythm, Abhishek Bhou on vocals and Pinaki on bass guitar. But, with time, Pinaki and Rahul left the band. Later, there were conflicts between the band members regarding the band's genre. The band had already scattered into pieces, but later, it decided to play funk rock and was joined by Bitu Deka on the drums in August 2013. Armaan shifted to bass guitar and Mayank Semwal shifted to guitars/backing vocals. Abhishek Bhou, with his powerful and entertaining dance moves, started to rock the stage in his style; this was the time when the band came into existence and brought a new era of funk music.
