All of them were a part for different bands and they met each other through various gigs and concerts that were happening in the local metal scene. Even though, each of them followed different bands like Behemoth, Cynic, Mayhem, The Faceless, Dying Fetus, and Sikth, they found delight in knowing that the band 'Death' had influenced them the most as musicians and each of them wanted to carry forth Chuck Schuldiner’s legacy. They decided to combine different genres of music to create a sound that was not just unique but also expressed various emotions. This led to them – Inder (Guitars), Abhishek (Drums), Mohak (Vocals), and Shiby (Bass) – to form Dequma, on 17 August 2011. The New material for their upcoming album and a music video is on the schedule. Also, Dequma is ready to start touring the country.
