Deepu Srivastava is an Indian comedian and an actor. He has participated in several comedy shows on national television. He is the younger brother of Raju Srivastava, who died on 21 September 2022.Deepu Srivastava’s journey in comedy began after he completed his graduation in 1993. Before moving to Mumbai in 1998, he used to perform at stage shows in Kanpur.In 2007, Deepu Srivastava participated in Funjabbi Chak De, which was aired on Star One.In 2009, Deepu Srivastava made his acting debut with the Bollywood film Meri Padosan, where he played the character of a gay.In the same year, Deepu Srivastava appeared alongside his elder brother Raju Srivastava in the comedy show Raju Hazir Ho.In 2010, Deepu Srivastava participated in the Laughter Express, which was aired on a local Bhojpuri channel.In the same year, Deepu Srivastava acted alongside actors like Javed Jaffrey and Isha Koppikar in the film Hello Darling. Later, he landed a role in the Hindi comedy film Bhavnao Ko Samjho, where he acted alongside Sunil Pal, a comedian.In 2012, Deepu Srivastava was invited by LIVE India, a news channel, to perform a standup comedy on their show.
