Chicken Head is a LIVE band based out of Dimapur, Nagaland. Formed in 2012, they play metalcore and thrash metal music. The band resumed activity in 2014. Made up of a quartet, the group shifted to playing a new brand of modern groove metal, influenced by acts such as Pantera, Lamb of God, etc. They have been performing in various band contests and gigs, and have been very consistent in delivering some mesmerising LIVE concerts to the entire Northeast music circuit. The band's mutual interest lies in creating heavy yet active music inspired by Christian metal bands such as As I Lay Dying, Demon Hunter, Pillar, etc. Achievements: Joint winners at AUXEXIS 4.0-Ransack 2014, Dibrugarh University Winners of Rockville-Battle of the bands, NIT, Nagaland 2015 Finalists at PHU LING LANG-National beat contest 2015 Band Members: Vocals – Thomas Shiu Guitars – Mankon Konyak Bass – Bendang Pongen Drums – Mhathung Jami
