After having a hugely successful career as a photographer, Boman Irani started his acting career as a theatre artist and made his Bollywood debut at the age of 44 in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Josh in 2000.  After appearing in various films across various genres, it was his role in the 2003 super-hit film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. that brought him into limelight. Post that, Boman’s career took a direction which till date makes him one of the most versatile actors of our industry.  Some of his notable films include Main Hoon Na and Veer Zara in 2004, No Entry in 2005. In 2006 he was seen in Lage Raho Munna Bhai, a role earned him Nomination at the Filmfare Awards. Boman’s role of a college principal in Rajkumar Hirani’s blockbuster film 3 Idiots is one of his most remembered roles which also earned him his first Filmfare Award. This multi talented actor has also hosted the IIFA Awards numerous times and is a regular stage performer as well.His artistic sensibilities add tremendously to brands, live experiences and theatre alike.
