Comedians entertain their audience by joking, satirizing people in a positive light, not intended to hurt anyone.

Comedy has always been appreciated in Hollywood and across the globe. Here are just a few talented individuals who evoke laughter and make our day brighter than ever.

Jim Carrey

Jim Carrey, a Canadian American comedian has gifted us with comedy that is timeless and new grows stale. We remember his outstanding performance in movies such as Ace Ventura, Pet Detective, The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, The Cable Guy, Liar Liar, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Bruce Almighty. He was awarded The Golden Globe for his incomparable comedy in these movies.

Jerry Seinfield

Jerry Seinfield has been regarded as the Master of Comedy. He took this form of entertainment to a new level altogether. He is so effortless in his presentation that we can’t stop ourselves from laughing and enjoying his ready-wit and sparkling dialogues. He was the chief protagonist in a comedy tele-series, Seinfield. He is unmatchable.

Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy is an all-time favorite. He has played quirky and eccentric characters. Each of them has a unique personality. We can’t help ourselves from loving each character and the madness that each has to offer. Bowlfinger, Daddy Day Care, The Haunted Mansion, Dr.DoLittle, the Shrek series and The Nutty Professor are the classic hits that have enchanted our audience for ages now.

Robin Williams

Robin Williams began his career as a stand-up comedian in San Francisco and Los Angeles in the 1970s. We remember him for his hilarious comedy in Mrs. Doubtfire, Flubber, Aladdin, Night at the Museum, Popeye and many others. Unfortunately, we lost this talented comedian on the 11th of August, 2014.

Adam Sandler

Adam Sandler began his career as a stand-up comedian and soon took up acting in films. He used to perform in a Boston Comedy Club. He was also seen in MTV’s Remote Control and on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. He also starred in the hit comedy, Anger Management.

He also starred in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, The House Bunny, Funny People, Grown Ups, The Do-Over.

Steve Martin

Steve Martin is another very talented comedian who was a writer for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour. His comedy is popularly regarded as offbeat and absurdist. He also wrote for The Gien Campbell Goodtime Hour and The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour. He was also a stand-up comedian for the show, The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, The Muppet Show.

He also had his very comedy albums such as Let’s Get Small, A Wild and Crazy Guy.

He was also a comical actor and his performance in movies such as Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid, The Man With Two Brains, All of Me and many other films.

It is a privilege for us to have seen so many brilliant and talented people creating an environment for pure fun and laughter. They are unique and experts in their own field. They have made us laugh for decades and are continuing with such talent and wit.
