Gracefully aging Supperstars

Every teen fantasizes about their favorite movie star. It is a global epidemic. But it is the most natural indulgence. We never hope that our dreamy superstars will grow old, have a few prominent streaks of grey in their attractive hairdos or develop a bulging potbelly.

Our Bollywood stars have defied time with flawless grooming and fitness regimes. There are many brilliant men who have developed as actors, as people and have retained their youthful charm. Let’s see how some stars have made us swoon.

Aamir Khan

This child prodigy has won the hearts of his audience when he first appeared as a nephew of the protagonist in Yaadon Ki Baraat (1973). We all remember his innocent, lover-boy persona in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988). We all shed a tear for the character that he portrayed with excellence.

We saw a gradual transformation of this actor from a romantic Romeo to a more mature and observant person. Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par, Ghajni, 3 Idiots, PK and Dangal have seen his progressive acting, along with his maturity and grace.

He has proven to his audience that he can mould himself to play the role of a young character as well as an old one. Dangal is one such example.

Kabir Bedi

One of the actors who walks into a room and everyone screams ‘elegance and class’ is Kabir Bedi. He was graceful when he was young and dashing in the James Bond movie, Octopussy, Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story, Kacche Dhaage, Khoon Bhari Maang as well as his tv shows Murder She Wrote, Magnum, The Lost Empire, The Bold and the Beautiful and others. He looks that stunning even now.

Akshay Kumar

He was a smoky, athletic macho man who stole our hearts when he jumped off a 60 feet tall building in Khiladi No.1. He was an actor-stuntman for many of his action movies. He gained maturity and displayed a different side to his acting skills when he played the role of a psychiatrist in Bhool Bhulaiya (2007) and his spectacular roles as social servant and unique characters in Airlift (2016), (Rustom) and Jolly LLB 2(2017). He seems to contest time and appears ageless whenever he appears in public.

Saif Ali Khan

The junior Nawab of Pataudi was initially famous for playing the role of young playboys who are hopelessly in love and infatuated. His song, Ole Ole says it all. He was famous for acting in crime drama, thrillers and romances. But with time, he seems to portray his royal grace and has been successful in films like Race, Love Aj Kal and Cocktail.

Rahul Bose

Rahul Bose has made time stand still. He is one of the most versatile actors in the industry today. He has worked in regional films as well as English movies. Some of his noteworthy works in Bengali are Mr. and Mrs. Iyer, Anuranan, Antaheen and The Japanese Wife.

His Hindi films Pyar Ki Side Effects, Jhankaar Beats, Chameli and Shaurya made him popular across India. He just left a few natural streaks of grey in his hair but his smile and his personality has left him ageless and stunning.

These veteran actors have gone against the tests of time to become very popular and handsome personalities in the Indian film industry today.
