Bhava is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The duo’s approach to music is known as primordial sounds. The duo stays away from the term fusion as they believe the primordial sound is a focal point of the various forms of music and styles, the root of which has always been in existence. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the brother/sister combo is currently put up in Chennai, India Fueled by inspiration and innovation, Varshini Muralikrishnan, Los Angeles-Chennai based singer, keyboardist, and songwriter is making a revolution around the world by popularising her style of global music. Varshini comes from a musical family and has been extensively trained in both classical Indian and western music. She has learned Indian vocal since the tender age of two from her mother, Rose Muralikrishnan, and keyboard and veena from her father, NMK Muralikrishnan. She has trained and sang in various choirs since the tender age of eight. Varshini brings to life a genre of music that incorporates diversity, vibrancy, soul, and tradition. Her talent and creativity in composing and performance have no limit. Heavily influenced by Indian classical music, Varshini’s contemporary style ranges from classical and RnB to jazz.
