Archita Bhattacharya is a professional singer based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is trained both in classical and light music.
Late AT Kanan was her trainer from whom she learned semi-classical music and ghazals.
Late Smt Shipra Bose trained her to sing light classical music.
Archita is nationally and internationally known and sings bandish, semi classical, ghazal, Sufi, Maand and a medley of a few ragas. Sanwara Mhare Preet was her first CD.
She sang songs on channels such as E-TV Kolkata, DD Urdu and DD Raipur. Diya Aur Bati Hum, a serial on Star Plus invited her to sing the title track (sad version).
She gave a lecture at Mayo College Ajmer and was sent by Bobby Sethi of KalaSangam Bombay. Big events for brands such as Banyan Tree, Kala Sangam Mumbai, SMEAM and Birla Sunlife invited her to perform.
Archita recorded a song with Shankar Mahadevan and was invited by his academy to perform at NCPA Mumbai. She recorded songs for INSYNC classical channel which was aired on 18th November, 2015.
Archita is working on her new album, Jogiya in which she composed the classical and light music and sang all the songs that had the female version.
