Anita Kaushik, popularly known as Anu, was born in Delhi. She has a degree in Political Science Hons from Delhi University. Anu acknowledged her passion for makeup at a very young age of 16, when she inducted herself at a salon for a self-grooming course. The conversion that was brought about in every face after a new makeup and hairstyle in that busy salon caught her attention and she knew she wanted to be a makeup artist. Over the years, the self-taught and blessed artist Anu has built-up a reputation for creativity and high details with her technical ability in artful eye and hair. Her forte is her flawless control over hair and makeup, which makes it easier for her to visualize and create the final look. Anu says that the feeling of transforming a simple girl into a stunning bride or a model into a style diva cannot be described. Profession for her is work plus pleasure as she loves traveling and her profession takes her to the fascinating locations all over the world. Anu is based in Delhi, the capital city of India. As a freelancer, her creation has filled the pages of top fashion and advertising campaigns, and beauty spreads/cover pages. She has been a makeup and hair faculty in The Elite School and is a guest faculty in NIFT, Delhi. A favorite of many fashion icons, Bollywood stars, designers and leading fashion photographers, she has opened her dream makeup studio-cum-spa for her exclusive brides. Considering complete belief in her work, it's not surprising that her spa is attended by actresses, top models, beauty insiders, and fashion and influential society women who love its modern Mediterranean yet sensible, down to earth flavor of chic combined with loyal services. She has recently inaugurated her Makeup & Hair Academy – MAMA (Masters Academy of Makeup Art) in Jangpura, Delhi.
