Amongst Denied is a LIVE band based out of Pune, Maharashtra. The experimental metal band consists of five like-minded musicians. The group has been working on new material and entered Refractor Studio in 2013 to start with the production of their debut album. Amongst Denied was formed in 2010 by Vineet and Aazi. Jinu joined the band next and after a few jam sessions, Ankit and Sagar followed settling in the band. They started off as a groove-oriented band, drawing major inspirations from metalcore and groove genres. After several lineup changes, the band came up with their first single, Sanctuary Defiled, in May 2011. The song was well-appreciated by the Pune metal circuit. The band released another single, Pandora's End, a few months after the release of Sanctuary Defiled. Soon, the band started experimenting with time signatures and melodies and got to work on writing material that not only encases the old Amongst Denied music but is a step up in their musical creativity. The band is currently recording their debut full-length studio album comprising nine new songs. The production has been underway since August 2013 and is being produced by Adhiraj Singh (Guitarist at Noiseware/Refractor Studios).
