Aawara is a LIVE band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. From Hindi and Bollywood songs to pure classical, the band performs it all. The sound of the band consists of Carnatic classical and Hindustani classical, with folk music flavour. Taking out the Vedic Shlokas, Mantras, and Tandaav from historical Indian roots, the band makes original compositions including chants, and a blend of modern rock music makes Awara band a worth watch. The power-packed eight-piece band includes an upright bass, drums, keyboard, lead guitars, and four vocalists; they love performing harmonies LIVE, keeping the Indian roots alive with their music. Recently, the band has been a part of Indian national television reality show ‘Sur Sagar’ where they won the second runner-up position, beating 18 bands across India.
