Based out of Bengaluru, the electronic/trip-hop LIVE band, Sulk Station is a duo that was founded in 2009 by Rahul Giri and Tanvi Rao. The sultry voice of Tanvi Rao, blended with minimal beats and home-grown sounds of synth is what drives the duo’s music. Sulk Station’s tracks are based on contemporary-electronic genres like trip-hop, post-dubstep and ambient, and one can find the essence of Indian classical music. In 2012, Sulk Station’s debut album, Till You Appear got self-released, and received accolades from musicians, listeners, critics and bloggers. This fame got them slotted at World Event Young Artist Festival in Nottingham, UK.
