Jhankaar is a professional dance troupe based out of the capital of India, New Delhi. The group of enthusiastic young dancers made their foundation in 2011 with the sole aim of promoting the almost diminishing folk and tribal forms of dance amongst the people of India. All Indian dance forms portray the expression of life through the combination of breathtaking movements and graceful facial expressions with colorful costumes and vibrating ghunghroos (metallic anklet bells). Jhankaar has received the honor of performing at various platforms like Neemrana Fort Palace, World Dance Day'16, Spandan 2015, Indian National Science Academy, and Voter's Fest held at Dilli Haat to name a few. The young performers of Jhankaar wish to initiate a spirit of unity in diversity amongst masses by putting their heart and soul into each and every performance.
