Electric Korma is a LIVE band based out of Pune, Maharashtra. Originally from Sydney, the three-piece band reinvents Bollywood classics by turning them into epic rock songs, thus creating a high-energy and heart-warming sound. Electric Korma is led by George Stanton, an Aussie rocker from Wollongong. While studying at Wollongong University, he met and fell in love with an Indian girl. While attempting to teach him to count in Hindi, she showed him the song 'Ek do teen'. He played this song and 'Mehbooba' with his original band (The Plasmon Resonance Band) at an Indian society function. The response was so overwhelming that a dedicated Indian cover band seemed like a good idea. Thus, Electric Korma was born! Since then there's been no looking back! Electric Korma has played in festivals, charities, weddings, and concerts with international artists. They can sing in Hindi as well as Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
