By2Blues is a LIVE band based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The duo consists of two musicians – Ananth Menon and Vasudev Prabhu, with an abiding passion for a genre of music that is deeply connected to almost every form of Western music. This classic ‘guitar-harmonica duo’, has set out to pay their tribute to the blues, in their home-grown style. Ananth, with his guitar, has a voice that is like fine whisky – mellow, smooth, and welcome. With such combination, the wailing harmonica dances like country rain on a tiled roof, drizzling steadily and gently, and bursting into a fierce downpour at times.  By2Blues is influenced by the classic post-war era music and by other genres like soul, RnB, country blues, gospel, funk, blues-rock, and rock n roll. A spirited amalgamation of all these genres in their performances, engage the audience in stories of struggles and triumphs, love won or lost, honesty and skullduggery, hoodoo and miracles, bonhomie and despair.  Ananth and Dev have performed at various festivals at popular venues in Bangalore. Although a young LIVE band (comprising seasoned musicians), By2Blues is garnering a fan base that includes appreciative 70-year-olds, curious 17-year-olds, corporate execs and anyone who is a music lover, sitting back for some meaningful, easy-on-the-ears, uncluttered entertainment in the middle of a hectic life.
